Banana Smoothie


This banana smoothie recipe is great for all ages but kids absolutely love it. It’s naturally sweet. Tip: Freeze brown bananas and use these. The riper the banana, the sweeter the smoothie. Check out Freshli to get your bananas and other fresh produce home delivered.



Serves: 1

  • 1/2 large banana
  • 100g natural yoghurt
  • 100ml Milk
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3 tsp psyllium husks
  • Ground cinnamon


  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
  • Garnish with banana slices and dust with cinnamon


  • Add a teaspoon of ground flax seeds or chia seeds to add more fibre and other nutrients
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of raw old-fashioned oats to make it more filling
  • Add a teaspoon of cacao powder for a chocolate banana smoothie
  • Swap honey for maple syrup
